SYDNEY — Gaming products developer and manufacturer Techlink Entertainment has appointed a researcher from the University of Nevada to lead an advisory panel on responsible gaming.

In a release issued Friday, the Sydney-based company said its partnership with Bo Bernhard will provide them with research-based insights on problem gambling behavior in a manner that enhances the company’s responsible gaming technologies.

“Dr. Bo Bernhard’s independent research on our recently commercialized responsible gaming technology (Gameplan) helped guide our thinking when we first developed new responsible gaming technologies,” said Techlink president and CEO John Xidos.

Bernhard, a Harvard University sociology and psychology graduate, concentrated his thesis on the impacts of the gaming industry on Las Vegas and received magna cum laude honors from both university departments.
